SAS Asset Registry

SAS Asset Registry is an asset activation program that enables communities to identify underutilized natural, physical, cultural, and institutional assets; verify ownership, custodianship, and control; and establish clear terms for their use. Verification combines formal and community-based processes, supported locally through SAS Community Development Towers, while the digital registry increases visibility and connects verified assets with potential users, partners, and investors.

Once registered, assets are matched with sustainable productive opportunities, including enterprise use, shared-use arrangements, and asset-backed ventures. SAS facilitates these connections and provides the governance standards needed to protect the rights and interests of asset owners and custodians, provide users with clear and reliable terms of access, clarify responsibilities, and support fair and transparent utilization.

SAS Business Clinic

SAS Business Clinic is an enterprise-support program that strengthens the human, organizational, and operational readiness of community-rooted businesses and institutions. It connects entrepreneurs, SMEs, cooperatives, and community organizations with qualified local experts who diagnose constraints, co-create development plans, and accompany implementation through structured coaching tailored to each enterprise's stage, priorities, and operating context.

The Clinic combines digital intake, case management, expert matching, and progress tracking with onsite facilitation through SAS Community Development Towers. Support may cover strategy and operations, governance, financial management, market access, formalization, digitalization, compliance, and linkages to assets, finance, and partnerships. Serving both individual enterprises and partner-sponsored portfolios, the Clinic enables development partners and investors to deliver structured support through trusted local systems. Its purpose is to help enterprises stabilize, improve performance, and build the capabilities required for sustainable growth and stronger market participation.

SAS Investment Readiness

SAS Investment Readiness is a program that connects innovators, entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and community ventures with aligned investors. It prepares opportunities for engagement by assessing readiness, strengthening business and financial cases, clarifying capital requirements and intended use, and establishing appropriate governance, reporting, and milestone requirements.

Through SAS Investment Wallet, standardized opportunities gain visibility and can be compared and matched with impact investors, diaspora investors, financial institutions, and development-oriented capital providers. SAS facilitates matching based on the opportunity, investor preferences, proposed terms, and intended impact, and supports both parties in formalizing agreements and transparently tracking commitments. By strengthening the quality of investment opportunities and the trust between innovators and investors, the program reduces transaction and due-diligence barriers and enables capital to flow responsibly into community-rooted ventures.

Responsible Sourcing (REsource)

Responsible Sourcing (REsource) is SAS's program for transforming extractive and high-risk supply chains into more resilient and accountable systems that create shared value for producing communities and downstream market actors. Designed for fragile, conflict-affected, and climate-impacted contexts, the program combines value-chain research, systems analysis, community engagement, institutional strengthening, and traceability to assess how sourcing practices affect producer incomes, natural assets, conflict exposure, and long-term supply continuity.

REsource works with communities, cooperatives, researchers, companies, investors, and development and advocacy partners to co-design practical alternatives. These may include direct or cooperative-based procurement, fairer pricing, improved contract farming, risk-sharing mechanisms, storage solutions, community investment, and end-to-end traceability. Drawing on SAS Community Development Towers, the Asset Registry, Business Clinic, Investment Readiness Program, and digital governance infrastructure, REsource connects producers with responsible markets while strengthening transparency, accountability, and protection of community interests.
