SAS — You Are the Foundation

SAS — meaning bedrock in Sudanese Arabic — was founded on the belief that communities possess significant but underutilized assets.

SAS Story

From an Idea to an Institution

SAS began from a simple observation: Sudanese communities do not lack resources — they lack the tools that make those resources documentable, tradable, and financeable. Founded in 2020 with the UNDP Accelerator Lab, SAS sustained its work through the conflict years, completed its legal establishment in 2024, and has since grown to deliver services across ten states.
